Easter Blessing to all in the Lasallian Family

Beneavin De La Salle College are very proud of the students who took part in the finals of the Lasallian Competition in Castletown on March 12th.

On March 12th a group of Junior and Senior music students from St. Benildus College participated in the Emmanuel 2024 concert.

The strong bonds that exist between Lasallian Schools were emphasised recently as students from St Benildus College Dublin and De La Salle College Churchtown celebrated academic achievement that resulted from their quality education.

Students at Castlebar Primary School underlined the importance of the core principle of concern for the poor and social justice recently with a number of fundraising efforts to help those in need.

Retreat work continues apace at De La Salle Retreat Centre Castletown and over the last few weeks we have welcomed mainly Confirmation groups to us, in addition to some Third Year and TY groups.

Empowering, educating, and ensuring safety - these are the hallmarks of the TY Digital Leaders at De La Salle College Churchtown, who have been making significant strides in fostering a digitally responsible school community.

The recent CoPE (Community of Professional Educators) session at De La Salle College Junior School, focused on our commitment to professional development and community engagement.

On Sunday March 24th, students and staff, past and present came together to give thanks for the many years of service that De La Salle High School gave the community of Downpatrick.

Staff and students at De La Salle Senior School continue to set a wonderful example to all in they way they embrace the Five Core Principles of a Lasallian School.

De La Salle Dundalk enjoyed success on the football field when the First Year Soccer team was crowned the 2024 North East Division One winners on Friday March 8th.

The dream of a student from Ard Scoil La Salle Raheny to have a dedicated Prayer Room as a quiet place to pray, reflect or just to be alone in a gentle space was realised at the beginning of Lent when De La Salle Order organised  a Competition among its schools.

The theme for the season of Lent at St Benild School this year is inspired from a children's book entitled "Have You Filled a Bucket Today? A Guide to Daily Happiness for Kids" by Carol McCloud.

On Thursday March 7th pupils at St. Colman's BNS Macroom celebrated World Book Day with enthusiasm. 

The spirit of camaraderie and cultural exchange filled the air as St Gerald’s De La Salle College Castlebar welcomed our dear friends from the International Lasallian Campus (Istituti Filippin) in Paderno del Grappa, Italy.

At St Gregory’s Catholic College Bath, the programme for Lenten Reconciliation covered two and a half weeks, ensuring that every class experience their own personal liturgy in the school Chapel for an hour. 

Students and staff at De La Salle School St Helens joined in on the learning and fun for World Book Day.
