The end of year at Stella Maris brought many reasons to celebrate including the Graduation for Grade 6 students and a ceremony to honour Ms Patricia Azzopardi Preziosi on her retirement.

Staff and students at St Margaret Ward celebrated their diverse and inclusive community on the 12th July. Members of the school community were invited to wear clothing representing their cultural background.

De La Salle College Jersey has made it’s Lasallian ‘mark’ in the local community recently through its Art exhibition of images and sculptures, held in the local Arts Centre.

Over the past few weeks, Castletown has been a hive of activity with the Community welcoming visitors, hosting a retreat and District Chapter, while enjoying social activities.

On Monday July 3rd, La Salle Malta Senior Leaderships team met for an end of year seminar at our Pastoral Centre in Mellieha.

Day four of the District Chapter was held on Castletown on Saturday July 15th, which brought to an end the very successful gathering held over four days in the three countries in our District.

St Illtyd’s have illustrated once again the value of community spirit as various groups have come together to help bring life to the school garden. A lot has been achieve in recent times, but they are seeking more support.

The Irish Pastoral Advisory Board had a very successful meeting in Castletown on Wednesday June 7th where retreat teams reflected on the wonderful work that is being carried out in our centres.

Students and staff at St Nicholas Monastery School, Dundalk, have enjoyed many big events over the past few weeks including, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, Founder’s Day and Sports Day.

The annual sports day at De La Salle High School, Downpatrick, is one of the highlights of the calendar and this year’s event once again proved very enjoyable as the students displayed their athletic talents.
