Castlebar Primary School impress in national events

Students at Castlebar Primary School are ending the year on a high as they enjoyed success in a number of high-profile events.

Firstly, the soccer team finished second in the primary schools large schools All-Ireland recently at the Aviva under the guidance of teachers Des Cogan and Brendan McHugh.

 

The school was also second in the All-Ireland Chess competition last week where they were assisted by teachers, Brendan McHugh and Dee Foy.

 

The school was also represented at the Cumann na mBunscol Gaelic football finals this coming week.
