St Margaret Ward launch 1719 Society

St Margaret Ward Catholic Academy has special reason to celebrate this month as the 1719 Society was launched in the school, and members of the Society were inaugurated at their Awards Evening.

On the Tuesday prior to Awards Evening, the members were invited to the SLT meeting, and were given a gift bag with a note book, pen, folder and their 1719 ties in them.

On Thursday, they got to wear their 1719 ties for the first time and were introduced to our community.

They were also presented with their 1719 prefect badges by Katie Poole the key note speaker for the evening.
