Students at St Benild School have had many occasions to celebrate in recent weeks including, walking with the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows, World Down Syndrome Day and International Women’s Day.

As we approach the Easter break, pupils at Castlebar Primary School can reflect on a busy few weeks where they took part in a range of events.

Lasallians in the District are reminded that registration is open for the Induction Lasallian CPD in Malta which takes from August 16th to 23rd. This is the extended induction formation programme and is available to anyone working in a Lasallian school or centre.

There has been much to keep students at Stella Maris Junior School busy over the past few weeks as they have been given the opportunity to live their Lasallian values, learn about science, welcome German students and to their bit for charity, among many other activities.

Ahead of the start of the District Chapter in April, the District Chapter Prayer has been shared with the Lasallian Family.

Students from St Stephen’s Boys National School in Wateford have been displaying their creative talents by producing an award-winning movie, while also earning recognition for living the Lasallian values.

The team at the De La Salle Retreat Centre have been taking to the road in recent weeks as they visit schools for a variety of retreats, while they are also preparing for an open day after the Easter holidays.

De La Salle Pastoral Centre, Castletown continues to welcome many groups, and visitors in recent weeks have included Lasallian students from St Stephen's Waterford.

It has been an action-packed few weeks at De La Salle College Junior School in Malta with preparations for Easter, charity collections, baking and a special visitor.

January 2023 heralded a new term in De La Salle College Churchtown, our students and staff returned after the Christmas break refreshed and ready for a busy term.

St Peter’s School Chaplaincy department has been a hive of activity this Lenten Season, beginning on Ash Wednesday when over 1500 staff and pupils received Ashes.

Students at St. Illtyd’s Catholic High School in Wales have been taking part in a wide variety of activities that illustrate how they live and share the Lasallian Values.

This year promises to be a special one for all associated with St. Illtyd’s Catholic High School in Rumney, Wales, as they celebrated the centenary of the founding of the school by the De La Salle Brothers in Cardiff in 1923.

A number of events to mark this significant milestone are being planned and to set the scene, Head Teacher David Thomas, has outlined the importance of the 100th anniversary in his address to the school community.

Transition Year students from Ard Scoil La Salle Raheny had a brilliant two-day film-making workshop with @createschool.ie.

Students from the Lasallian Ambassador group at St Margaret Ward have been hard at work this Lent. The group has produced a reflection that has been shared with all students in our school, to begin our Lenten journey together as a community of faith.

It was another fantastic day for the De La Salle junior boys cross country team as they won the Munster schools cross country championship. Despite a tough course the lads came home with the gold.

The History department at DLS Macroom have put together a display to highlight the importance of the Irish Tricolour and the values it represents

As always, there is never a dull moment in De La Salle College Senior School Malta as the last few weeks have been filled with a variety of activities such as a concert, religious visit, sports day and hot chocolate morning.

Congratulations to all recipients of 'attendance' and 'most improved' awards for the month of February at De La Salle High School, Downpatrick.
