Castletown Pastoral Centre welcome Lasallian students

Greetings from De La Salle Pastoral Centre, Castletown where we continue to welcome groups to us, including many Confirmation classes.

One of the activities we do with this age group is to facilitate making 'Holy Spirit Friendship Bracelets' with the students: 9 strands of wool symbolise the 9 Fruits of the Holy Spirit and as we make the bracelets we discuss how we can weave the fruits into our everyday lives. The knot at either end is a reminder of how God and our Faith keep everything together.

And speaking of togetherness, we were delighted to welcome Confirmation students from St Stephen's De La Salle, Waterford for Confirmation retreats and a few days later to facilitate a workshop for the Lasallian school students from across Ireland who gathered in Castletown for the Lasallian Competition.

It is particularly special to have De La Salle students with us and to spend time together with the wider Lasallian family. May we continue to be one in spirit with one another and continue to reach out the hand of friendship.

Wishing you all a blessed Easter and a restful break.
