Dublin retreat team taking to the road

Spring has arrived at the Retreat House in Ballyfermot, along with an abundance of daffodils. We have been travelling this month so as to meet schools' logistics, needs and requirements. The team travelled to Holy Child Secondary Girls' School in Killiney, Co. Dublin to do an "India-debrief".

The TY students had travelled out earlier in the school year and this was our facilitating an opportunity to assess and evaluate their experience, personal growth and global awareness. It was an excellent session. The girls were hugely engaged with their experiences and to what they bore witness in Kolkata. They were eager to hear each other's perspectives and  learn of each other's adjustment to "normal" life after they returned home.

We have also been going out to Meath and Kildare, giving Confirmation retreats, with others coming to us in very encouraging numbers.

We are engaging with the local community of Ballyfermot and visiting the schools here. In fact, we have an Open Day for schools near and far scheduled. You are all welcome to join us from 3pm to 5pm on Tuesday, 18 April 2023 at Johnstown House, 197 Le Fanu Road, Ballyfermot D10 X735.
