Thanks to the generosity of the Lasallian Family, the La Salle Foundation has raised 65,000 euros to help the flood victims in Brazil.

Students at De La Salle College Senior School are shining examples of how we can all work together to help protect the planet with a number of projects over recent weeks.

During this month La Salle Pastoral Centre Castletown welcomed our last groups for the academic year and we also had an opportunity to have a team reflection day in the wonderful setting of Kiltegan, Co Wicklow

As another school year draws to an end, it’s time to reflect, just as we daily encourage our retreatants to do at De La Salle Pastoral Centre, Belfast.

The leadership of the District of Ireland, Great Britain and Malta enjoyed a special week in Madrid as guests of their counterparts from ARLEP (the District of Spain and Portugal).

As the De La Salle High School in Downpatrick comes to the end of it’s final year, students and staff enjoyed two special celebrations - Founder’s Day and a Mass of Farewell.

Our earthly mother/guardian and our heavenly mother were remembered and honoured by students and staff at St Benild School on Friday, May 10th.

Students at De La Salle College Waterford combined their creativity with their Lasallian ethos with two innovative projects in the school. These include a new mural and Lasallian Star flower bed.

Students at Stella Maris have had a very active time over the past few weeks with some of the highlights including the celebrations for Founder’s Week and participation in an Olympic-themed Erasmus project.

Students and staff at St Seton’s in Dublin displayed their concern for those in need by taking part in the Cycle Against Suicide and Darkness Into Light, while they also organised a Staff Wellbeing Walk.

The month of May sees the Glendalough student pilgrimage from De La Salle Retreat Centre Dublin in full flow.

Students at St Illtyd’s Catholic High School have been experiencing many activities, including giving a classroom a make-over, learning First Aid and going on very educational outings.

St Margaret Ward staff and students enjoyed a wonderful day of celebrations for Founder’s Day on May 10th.

All at De La Salle College Macroom are very proud to hear that Cian Kelleher (fourth year) has been accepted to the Global Young Leaders Programme.

The Funeral Mass of Br. Gerald Fogarty took place in St Helens on Tuesday May 7th. At the service, Br. John Deeney delivered the following eulogy. 

Staff and students at De La Salle Senior School Malta continue to enjoy a variety of events including retreats, voluntary work, celebrating Founder’s Day and supporting charity.
