St Seton’s show concern for those in need

Students and staff at St Seton’s in Dublin displayed their concern for those in need by taking part in the Cycle Against Suicide and Darkness Into Light, while they also organised a Staff Wellbeing Walk.

Cycle Against Suicide

Pedalling towards hope, TY students rallied together for a cause, cycling against the shadows of despair in a charity event for ‘Cycle Against Suicide’. They created free upcycled tie-dye T-shirts and turned the whole school orange by encouraging everyone to wear an orange piece of clothing. Their efforts not only raised vital funds for the charity but promoted an important message that ‘it is ok to not feel ok’ in our school and community.

 Darkness into Light

Our school joined the Pieta 'Darkness Into Light' movement in the Phoenix Park, symbolising our commitment to bring hope to those battling mental health challenges. We walked the 5km together and afterwards we came back to the school for breakfast. To see staff, students and students guardians together was amazing to see and it was a beautiful wholesome morning.

Sports Day

We held our first school Sports Day during Founder’s Week where the full school community came together. All staff and students got really involved and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Members of community organisations joined us to celebrate the event marking the continued partnership between St. Setons and the wider community.

Staff Wellbeing Walk

The staff of St. Setons went for a wellbeing ‘walk and talk’ in the Dublin mountains followed by a group lunch to thank staff for their hard work this year.
