Students investing time in the elderly in Malta
Following St John Baptist de La Salle's footsteps, whilst being aware of what being a Lasallian is all about, six Form 4 students from De La Salle College Senior School dedicated some of their free time during the Easter holidays and together with Fr Jean Claude Schembri, undertook voluntary work among the elderly in the village of Siggiewi.
The students involved were: Kyle Bonello, Kurt Caruana, Matthias Conrad, Jack Zahra, Denzel Schembri and Craig Zerafa.
“Sometimes we cast the elderly aside, but they are our precious treasure: to cast them aside is an injustice and irreparable loss.”
