DLS Academy celebrate Founder’s Day

De La Salle Academy in Croxteth have been celebrating our Founders Day – for the first time in three years! 

We were able to once again join our community in church, where Fr Anthony and Deacon Malcom celebrated Mass for us. All faiths joined us and those that are not Catholic, had a new experience and gained an understanding of how different faiths pray.

A number of students read and brought gifts from the school as part of the offertory. These were symbols of our education.

Following our visit to Mass, students worked in teams as form groups to discuss what being a Lasallian is to them.  Each form group designed their own Lasallian Hero outfit! Volunteers took part in a catwalk to showcase their designs – some of the winners are below. Key messages were about out togetherness and being a true team!
