St Stephen’s end term on a high

Students and staff at St Stephen’s Boys National School in Waterford were very busy in the closing weeks of term.

The school gave out Awards in all classes to boys who were being kind, sharing and helping their Teacher. Everything a good Lasallian should be! Each boy got a certificate and prize. It was a first-time initiative for the school and was very well received.

Ms Marise Robinson organised Stay and Play in Senior Infants in June. This is a Home School Community Liason (HSCL) initiative and ran for four weeks. Parents came in and played games such as jigsaws, Snakes and Ladders and marble run with the boys. It was a huge success. Boys and parents really enjoyed it.
