Sir Andrew returns to St Peter’s for science lecture

He received a knighthood in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2021 for services to Public Health, especially in the pandemic. He will be talking about the Covid pandemic and the development of one of the vaccines in widespread use today.

Sir Andrew likes to take questions from the audience so please do come with any questions you may have. We are very proud that he is a St Peter’s alumnus and was Head Boy of St Peter’s a few years ago.

The series will commence on Wednesday March 2nd with Dr Russell Minns delivering ‘Making Molecular Movies’. Dr Minns is an Associate Professor within the School of Chemistry at the University of Southampton.

On March 16th, Dr Michelle Scott will talk on ‘Organ Donation’. Dr Scott is a consultant anaesthetist and Critical Care lead at The Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

Everyone welcome, no booking required. £1 suggested donation on the door.
