Students continue to inspire at Benildus Pastoral Centre

February has seen an influx of enquiries for retreats at Benildus Pastoral Centre. The fears we had that there might be cancellations due to staff shortages as a result of Omicron, did not transpire and we are now in the position where we have six schools awaiting cancellations so that we might accommodate them.

The students, as ever, continue to inspire, motivate and inform. There is a new questioning amongst them, a willingness to explore their own spirituality, friendships and relationships. Working in these times has brought steep learning curves, privileged insights and priceless sharing.

Our average of four retreats per week continues with some weeks encompassing five. It is a busy period at a unique time but the need has never been greater.
