St Margaret Ward students enjoy visit to Kintbury

From January 24th to 27th some of the Y10 and 11 students from St Margaret Ward Catholic Academy attended a retreat at the St Cassian’s Centre in Kintbury, our Lasallian Pastoral centre. Students took part in a range of activities including walking, archery, art and craft activities as well as opportunities for prayer, reflection and discussion.

The students had an amazing time and were overwhelmingly positive about their experience of the retreat. Here’s some of the things they said:

“This trip was very spiritually uplifting and has given me amazing memories I'll remember for the rest of my life”

“Really good, the people were so nice and I felt so welcomed.”

“I became more confident and the staff there really made you feel welcome”

“My small group leaders were the nicest people and so funny! I am so glad I met them and they made me feel so comfortable. Thank you, Kintbury Team!”

As you can see our students had a wonderful time, and so we echo their words and thank the Kintbury team for their hard work.
