Reflections on a wonderful Malta experience

In August this year, Yvonne Joye took part in the District Lasallian Induction CPD, and she has shared her memories of what proved to be a wonderful and uplifting experience.

As facilitator at the De La Salle Retreat House Dublin, I was privileged and honoured to be invited to the District Lasallian Induction CPD which was held in Malta at La Salle Retreat Centre, Mellieha in August.

This was a deeply impactful event that afforded me connection, inclusion, deep learning, a renewal of spirituality and some very beautiful experiences.

Led fabulously and passionately by the Director of Formation and Vocation Ministry, Jo Millea, and the Office of Mission team, all contributors, speakers, facilitators and presenters were top class. The talks were multi-layered with wonderful engagement. Every session was educational, robust and always relevant.

It was wonderful to have Brother Visitor, Ben Hanlon there - whose presence always raises the bar. The people I shared this programme with, all of whom I connected with, will stay with me a lifetime. What an opportunity it was for me and what a reassurance it is to work with forward-thinkers who keep things current and very much on point.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
