Paul honoured for his dedication to Lasallian Mission

Paul Ross, a Deputy Headteacher of De La Salle School, St Helens, is retiring next month after 28 years in the school. He has recently returned from the Lasallian Camp at St Cassian’s Pastoral Centre, Kintbury, and asked if he could come, on the Feast of St Benedict, to Mass in the Brothers Community next to his school and say a word of thank you of their support of him.

After the Mass, everyone went to the Community room where Paul thanked the Brothers for their support and for just being there.  Unbeknown to Paul, the Brothers also wanted to thank Paul for his 28 years in the school, and for his support of the Lasallian Mission.

To Paul’s surprise, Brother Michael, Auxiliary Visitor, presented Paul with the La Salle Star.
