World Educators Day
On Friday 4th October, we celebrated World Educators Day. “You are more than just educators; you are mentors, guides, and role models. Your patience and passion, create a safe environment where learners feel encouraged to explore new ideas and challenge themselves. The lessons you teach extend far beyond the classroom; you shape the character of our learners and influence the paths they choose in life.” Small tokens of appreciation were distributed to members of staff. A get to gather was organised on the day after school.
Animal Awareness Week
During Animal Awareness week, students collected cat food to donate to Mrs Rita Giordano from Love for Stray Animals Malta Foundation. The school presented the collection to Ms Rita. We thank our Lasallian families for their generosity.
Blessing of the Pets
On Thursday 3rd October, the Junior School students gathered together with the educators and parents for the Blessing of the Pets. Mr Abela, Head of School, led the prayer and gave a short speech. Benjamin Galea interviewed Nicholai Fenech who played the role of St Francis. Fr Anthony then blessed all the pets. The smiles on the students' faces said it all. Thanks to Mr David for helping in the coordination of the event.

Assembly about Peace
Grade 6 Arnold students presented a play and a song with the theme PEACE. The assembly explored the theme and explained in simple terms that although we are surrounded by many people, sometimes we feel alone, no matter where we are - both at school, at work etc. Sometimes the people around us ignore what we are going through, they hurt us physically or emotionally, and they don't show us that they are sorry. So it's always good to apologise if you know you did wrong, and it's always better if you try to fix the mistake. Let's keep the Peace.
ADHD Awareness Day
On Monday 14 October, on ADHD Awareness Day, students and educators wore bright orange t-shirts, danced together during assembly and played an exciting football match during break time.
Students watched two video clips which highlighted the importance of understanding and supporting those with ADHD. Let’s continue spreading awareness, celebrating unique strengths, and showing support for everyone.
