Core Principles at the heart of life in Waterford

The Five Core Principles are very much at the heart of life in De La Salle College Waterford as recent events and initiatives have highlighted once again.

Leaving Cert

In acknowledgement of the fantastic results of the class of 2024, we invited the students back to the school to celebrate their achievements and chat about their CAO offers and what’s next for them. We wish each and every one of them the very best of luck in the future.

Clubs and Societies

We held our first ever Clubs & Societies event recently, where our 1st Years were introduced to all the extra-curricular activities that are available in our school, which highlights the hard work being done by teachers and students behind the scenes.

Foyer

Well done and a massive thanks to our 6th Year student, Sherwan Almohamad who has been helping to improve the Foyer area of our school. He’s seen here showcasing his work on our diversity wall, which was part of our recent wellbeing initiative.

TY Buddies

Our TY Buddies hard at work showing 1st years how to tie their ties!

Br Stephen Library

Well done to 6th Year Jack Power who made a fabulous bench for the Br. Stephen Deignan Library using old encyclopaedias. A super creative upcycling project!
