Experiences in Castletown show Spirit is alive

During these weeks of February La Salle Pastoral Centre Castletown have enjoyed the St Brigid's holiday and the midterm break but we have also welcomed many groups to the Centre.

We have had some senior year groups but mostly the groups have been Confirmation classes and we have been truly blessed.

The Confirmation candidates are so enthusiastic and engaging and the Spirit is very much alive in them.

Some of the Confirmation groups have included students who will not be making their Confirmation but those students had wanted to come on the retreat to support their fellow students and to feel part of the group.

Being 'One in Spirt' and  being inclusive is very much our Lasallian ethos and it is what we try to practise on a daily basis in our work with young people.

At the end of February, the three Pastoral teams of Belfast, Dublin and ourselves will be gathering to connect, reflect and celebrate our work. We look forward to meeting up again with our fellow Lasallians and we pray it will be a Spirt-filled time for us all.
