Celebrating student success at High School Downpatrick

At their school assembly in January, De La Salle High School Downpatrick once again recognised and highlighted those individuals who have shown a strong work ethic and displayed some of the following criteria.

Active Engagement: Actively participates in class discussions and activities.

Curiosity: Demonstrates a genuine interest in learning beyond the curriculum.

Responsibility: Shows consistency in completing work and being prepared for lessons.

Respectful Behaviour: Displays respect for teachers, peers, and classroom rules.

Critical Thinking: Exhibits the ability to think critically and apply knowledge.

Positive Influence: Contributes to a positive and collaborative classroom environment.

We are all so very proud of these young gentlemen and wish for them to have continued positive involvement in school life.

History & Art collide

The students in B8 in De la Salle High School took part in a competition to draw a Norman Motte & Bailey Castle.

Pictured are the three winners, Ashin Kochmuttam Shijo, Caoimhin Hanna and Ronnie Moore. The Head of History, Mr Keeley was delighted with the work than earned them a “sweet treat” for their efforts. Well done to them and all the students of B8.
