Ballyfermot students take part in retreat
Transition Year students at St. John’s College, Ballyfermot, enjoyed a retreat in the school study hall with An Tober Nua at the beginning of February.
The activities involved included the following:
The students engaged in an activity to the song flowers by Moby, where they had to jump up and down when the lyrics directed them.
The picture of the Last Supper was a discussion piece about the meaning of the painting, sources and accounts and ways we can tell if something is true.
The picture of the dairy milk bar is the reward for the team that won the jumping exercise.
The green PowerPoint shows the doors that they choose for each activity.
The presenter continued to talk about her life of Jesus and his significance and the importance of Josephus who didn’t accept Jesus.
