Advent meditations at DLS Basildon

During the week beginning November 25th until December 12th, De La Salle School Basildon’s chaplain Doug has been leading our KS3 students in Advent meditations focusing on 'God made Man'. As part of the Meditation, students have to write a prayer of hope or have a hope for 2025 in their candle of hope. See below for some samples of the students’ work.

On November 27th, DLS Basildon held their annual Remembrance Mass in our Chapel. Our Chaplaincy reps represented the whole school and we thank Fr Selvini, a priest of the Brentwood Diocese who regularly comes into the school and supports us who celebrated our Mass and blessed our updated Memorial Book.
