The District is mourning the loss of Br. Gerald Fogarty who passed away in St John’s House, St Helens, on Friday April 12th.

Both students and staff at De La Salle College Senior School continue to broaden their horizons by opening themselves up to many experiences that help embrace the Lasallian values.

The members of the Student Animator Group at De La Salle High School Downpatrick were very pleased that their work was recognised at the recent National Lasallian Competition for schools.

The halls of De La Salle College Churchtown were abuzz with excitement and anticipation as students, parents, and representatives from various industries gathered for an unforgettable Careers Evening.

The Conference of Visitors of Europe (RELEM)  took place in Iasi, Romania from April 8th to 12th, 2024. It was a wonderful gathering of the Visitors and the RELEM MEL Council to enhance the work of the region in relation to all aspects of mission, formation and structures.

It has been another busy period for all at St Seton’s Secondary School Dublin with events including a trip to Knock Shrine, a paired reading initiative and a visit from the Lord Mayor. 

On Saturday April 20th, St. Benildus College marked a remarkable milestone in the All-Ireland IMTA Pi Quiz competition, as the Junior Maths team emerged as the champions by securing an impressive 19 out of 20 points.

Preparations are well underway for the District celebration of Founder’s Week and Founder’s Day in May.

It was a special day at Castlebar Primary School on Thursday April 18th when SIxth Class pupils made their Confirmation in the Church of the Holy Rosary.

Students from St Gerald’s College embarked on a memorable retreat day with An Tobar Nua. It was a day filled with exploration, reflection, and growth, as students actively engaged in the activities presented.

De La Salle College student Finn Yore whose hard work and talent has earned him national recognition in his sport of athletics.

St Stephen’s BNS in Waterford enjoyed a number of events in the school recently, including ‘Stay and Play’ and an anti-bullying campaign.
