Preparations underway for Founder’s Week celebrations

Preparations are well underway for the District celebration of Founder’s Week and Founder’s Day in May.

Resources have been shared with schools and centres to utilise during Founder’s Week. Members of the District Vocation Commission have compiled these resources around the theme of Lasallian DNA: Our Call to be Leaven. For each day of Founder’s Week as PowerPoint presentation or other resource with a prayer, Lasallian input, and some reflection, has been made available to schools and centres.

All are encouraged to use these resources with year groups, or Collective Worship as they see fit.

The District Founder’s Day celebration will take place on Friday May 10th at 10am via Zoom and all are invited to attend. A Zoom link will be shared closer to the date.

The service will also feature details on the Lasallian Awards and the announcement of the winners in each category.
