Successful start to the season at St Stephen’s

St Stephen’s BNS Waterford enjoyed a very successful start to the year on the sporting front with a number of notable performances.

The boys had a great day at the RSC for the cross-country athletics and after some spectacular performances they came home with 12 medals. Well done to all the athletes and thanks to Mr Coghlan and Ms Fenton for looking after the boys.

The boys U-11 GAA team were in action as they defeated Mount Sion, St Paul’s and Gaelscoil na nDéise to progress to the finals. It was a huge effort by all involved – well done.

The U-13 boys GAA team were also in action as they recorded a great win over neighbours Mount Sion in what was a very entertaining and competitive game. Well done to everyone involved.
