Students raise money for mental health charity

Year 12 students from De La Salle High School, Downpatrick recently held a cake and bun sale in our school canteen.

Our students were asked to choose a charity that would really benefit from any donations raised.

They collectively chose ALPS (All Lives are Precious), a charity and organisation which offers support and services on emotional wellbeing, mental health education and suicide prevention.

The final amount raised was £610. Thanks to Ms. Pauline Cull and all our Year 12 students for their efforts on the day.
