Student Animator Group Gear up for “Last Christmas” in Downpatrick

While on one “Last Christmas” George Michael gave us his heart, the Student Animator Group of De La Salle High School Downpatrick are preparing to give fellow students a chance to have some fun! They are focusing on the Year 8, 9 and 10 students as we run into Christmas holiday.

After the examination week ends, the Animator Group has organised two Christmas Quizzes! The first is for our new Year 8 students, and challenges them to spot DE LA SALLIE, (Santa’s “Unknown Reindeer”) who will be hiding in various areas of the school. Year 8 students will be challenged to spot De La Sallie, record her whereabouts, and enter the answers as part of a quiz that will have some great prizes for those with correct answers that go into the final Draw.

The Year 9 & 10 students will be invited to enter a Christmas-themed Quiz that has two parts: Part One quizzes the students about the Season of Christmas, while Part Two will challenge them to show their knowledge of our Founder St John Baptist de La Salle.

The Group are looking forward to adding to the Christmas celebrations as we end our last ever First Term in De La Salle high School.
