St Peter’s supporting ‘Reaching The Unreached’
Students at St Peter’s Bournemouth are continuing to provide great support for the Reaching the Unreached charity which is very close to their hearts.
A special raffle has been organised and will be of great interest to AFC Bournemouth fans. In 2019, we were very kindly donated a framed signed AFC Bournemouth football shirt but unfortunately we were unable to raffle it at the time, and we were then impacted by Covid-19. We therefore still have this amazing prize, which we will raffle to raise funds for Reaching the Unreached ahead of Christmas.
FIRST PRIZE: Framed signed AFC Bournemouth football shirt with certificate of authenticity
SECOND PRIZE: £100
THIRD PRIZE: £50
The draw will take place on 16 December. Winners will be notified on the day.
St Peter’s is very proud to be associated with the work of Reaching the Unreached, an NGO in South India, which was founded by former St Peter’s Art teacher, Brother Lionel, in 1974.
James Kimpton (Brother Lionel), was once Head of Art here at St Peter’s School, however, he decided that God had another mission for him and emigrated to India to help the poorest of the poor. His first mission was to help the ‘Railway children’- the children who had run away from home and were trying to make a living in railway stations all over India. After several years of helping these children, he moved to an area where poverty was even more widespread.
