St Margaret Ward attend Combined Schools Mass 2024

Every year in October, all the schools across the North Staffs Deanery gather together for the Combined Schools Mass and once again St Margaret Ward Catholic Academy was present. It is a great occasion to see all the schools from across the Newman Collegiate and beyond together to celebrate our Catholic faith together.

This special Mass was celebrated by Fr John Waters along with other priests from the North Staffordshire Deanery. Fr John spoke about the importance of the Eucharist as the source and summit of our Christian faith, as being the thing that binds us together as a Catholic Community and what an amazing gift it is from Jesus.

He also spoke about the North Staffs Vocations month in October and encouraged us all to pray for Vocations but also to consider what the Lord is asking of each of us.
