St Declan’s help those on the peripheries

The boys in St. Declan’s in Waterford continue to live the Lasallian principle of helping those on the peripheries by supporting a very worthwhile project in Kenya.

The pupils were once again very generous in bringing in their 50c for the Mission Collection all year, and a total of €1,966 was raised.

This money was passed on to Br. Tommy Walsh of De La Salle College and the De La Salle Missions. The money will go towards a Lasallian Project in Keelamudiman, Tamil Nadu in India and the construction of eight classrooms.
