St Benild reach out to extended Lasallian Family

St Benild School, Malta, is reaching out to the extended Lasallian Family this Christmas after developing an exciting link with a school in Belgium.

Through an initial first encounter between Assistant Head, Ms Claudia Vella and Head of School, Mr Pietro BelFiore during an Assedil Conference back in October, in Rome has flourished an exchange between the two Lasallian primary schools: St. Benild School, Malta and Institute Saint-Ferdinand, Belgium North.

Each class at St Benild collectively prepared a Christmas greeting card for six of the youngest classes at the Belgium Lasallian School. Moreover, this was followed up, weeks later, by an online assembly during which the children thanked each other for the cards made and sent.

Through such encounters children at a young age come to realise the international dimension of our Lasallian Institute. Moreover, it gives Lasallian teachers the opportunity to collaborate on common projects, across the borders.
