Special visitor at De La Salle College Macroom

Students and staff at De La Salle College Macroom were in for a treat recently when teacher and member of Kerry’s All-Ireland winning team, Shane Ryan, brought in the famous Sam Maguire Cup for a visit.

Shane, a Maths and PE teacher, who played in goal as Kerry defeated Galway to win the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, spoke to the boys about his career and the importance of hard work, commitment and dedication.
