Prayer Service and culture at St John’s, Ballyfermot

St John’s College, Ballyfermot, held a 6th Year Prayer Service on Monday December 6th, with the theme of ‘waiting’ being chosen as the title of the service.

Year head Ms. Dunne presented special effort awards, while Tutor Ms. Wyatt, presented Lasallian Awards to the students who will be the last group of 6th Years to pass through St. John’s College.

As part of the 5th year Task, students were asked to prepare a presentation each on Irish Culture. 

 This ranged from preparing a traditional Irish breakfast to the History of the Famine and the History of the Gaelic Athletic Association. 

The task was overseen by Ms. Maher.
