Positive feedback for Castletown Retreat Centre

At La Salle Retreat Centre, Castletown, we have had a busy few weeks, welcoming groups from Lucan, Carnew, Portlaoise, Banagher, Castlecomer and Naas. We are privileged to be able to welcome students from so many different places, but what unites them is their goodness, kindness and respect they show to us and each other.

Most of the groups have been Transition Year students, where we focus on their gifts and talents, and who and what is important to them.

We are always humbled by the positive feedback we receive from the students and love hearing how the day went from their perspective. The following comments came from students over the past few weeks:

The retreat was …

'A time to be with our friends, to get to know each other better & have fun.'

 'A meditative & calming day'

  'A memorable day'

 'Educational and relaxing'

We liked …

 'The reflective stroll'

 'The tea & biscuits'.

 'The prayer chest'

We pray  especially for the TY students who recently received their Junior Certificate results and may they continue to shine their best selves
