Lasallian Leaders in Waterford are setting an example

The strength of the Lasallian ethos in De La Salle College Waterford was emphasised once again as they now have an impressive total of 23 Lasallian Leaders.

The school was unable to attend the Student Leadership event in Castletown in October due to the school show, but the new leaders were trained in the college instead.

Since then they have been involved in many worthwhile projects in our school including: a bake sale for SVP, a food and toy drive for SVP, helping out with our lunchtime games club for our first and second year students.

There have been many other events in the school that see the 5 Core Principles being lived on a daily basis and below are just some of the many examples.

Our LCA students produced a beautiful crib during their woodwork classes. The Bishop arrived to thanks the boys personally. The crib is now placed in our Cathedral in Waterford City.

Our TY and LCA students attended Mount Melleray for their religion ritual.

Our TY and LCA students raised €1200 for Solas
