A very busy and rewarding year for the Kintbury Team came on a conclusion over the summer.

The Retreat Team of Director Emma, Juliette, Bex, and Issy, along with the Volunteer Team comprising, Sara, May, Alex and Mollie, certainly had a challenging year but their talent, enthusiasm and innovation shone through as they made it an enjoyable and fulfilling experience for all.

The disruptions caused by Covid such as working from home or adapting to online initiatives didn’t prevent the team from creating the best programme possible, and their efforts were most certainly appreciated by all who took part.

As a show of appreciation and to celebrate their year, the Management Committee members (past and present) joined the team for their final Mass and meal on Tuesday July 13th.

There will be some familiar faces when the new Team starts the new year as Sara will commence her role as Assistant Director at the Centre, while Mollie is returning for a second year.

The other team members are moving on to start an exciting new chapter in their lives, including Alex and May who are both starting new jobs in September as Teaching Assistant's in schools near their home.

Meanwhile Juliette and Bex, both left at the end of August. Juliette is joining the Columbans for a year and Bex is starting teacher training in Swansea.
