Early start for the team at Pastoral Centre Dublin

The return to work after summer, started early for the retreat team the La Salle Pastoral Centre Dublin  this year with our visit to Holy Child Killiney in August.

This is a programme we deliver every year; it is designed and tailored for the 5th Year girls to prepare them for their upcoming trip to India and the valuable volunteer work that they will undertake there. As always, it was a great success with lots of questions, information and learning opportunities. 

The return to the academic year also saw the retreat team down in beautiful Glendalough in the Garden of Ireland in the county of Wicklow. We had big numbers show up but all went very well as we accompanied them through the monastic city and led them up over the mountain. We were blessed with glorious sunshine throughout and the spirits of the students and teachers were high as everyone fully engaged.

It has been a wonderful return to the school year and we look forward to the many retreats ahead in a very full calendar.
