Downpatrick students looking after mental health

Students at De La Salle School Downpatrick have been active over the past few weeks as they took part in a Mental Health Wellbeing Programme and were also successful in a local competition.

Year 10 De La Salle students are involved in a 4-week Mental Health Wellbeing Programme covering topics such as  Mood matters, Take 5 and Mindfulness.

As a school, we value and understand how the mental health of each and every student is of utmost priority.

Year 8 Home Economics students were the lucky winners of £100 meat and lamb products from Livestock and Meat Commission in Co. Down

Our students forwarded essays to LMC outlining the importance and some of the reasons behind using Northern Ireland Farm quality Assured Meat.
