DLS Academy host party for local pensioners

On Thursday 26th May, The De La Salle Academy got into the party spirit by holding a Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea for our local pensioners. Some of our amazing students helped to decorate and set up the hall before helping to serve our guests. As well as the afternoon tea, we had some games of bingo, cake competition and students from Our Lady & St Swithin’s Primary School sang the National Anthem to start our afternoon tea and provided further entertainment as the afternoon went on.

Everyone had a fantastic afternoon and it was great to see everyone after having to cancel our Pensioners' Party at Christmas due to Covid reasons. The students were an absolute credit and received rave reviews from the guests.
