CHoRE gathering takes place in Kintbury

The busy schedule of District programmes and events continues on Thursday March 2 and Friday March 10 when Chaplains, Heads of RE and Animators from GB will gather at St Cassian’s, Kintbury, for the annual CHoRE gathering.

The event takes place on Thursday afternoon and finishes on Friday lunchtime, with one to the highlights being the keynote address from Raymond Friel, CEO of Caritas Social Action Network, Author and former Headteacher.

The theme of his address on Friday is ‘Catholic Social Teaching and Integral Ecology: What does this look like in our schools?’, and it is certain to provide valuable insights.

The gathering will also feature the sharing of good practice from Sam Cantillon (DLS St Helens), Anya Poole (St Margaret Ward) and Theo Arthur (St Joseph’s Beulah Hill), along with group work and sharing. There will also be time for reflection and a social evening on Thursday.

On Friday morning, Raymond Friel will address speak on ‘Gospel-inspired curriculum: A call to action’.
