Beneavin enjoy a busy build-up to Christmas
It has been a very busy build-up to Christmas for all at Beneavin De La Salle College with The Lasallian team co-ordinating a number of activities.
Pat Walsh (Director of Formation) and Br Tommy Walsh (Auxiliary Visitor) were treated to a wonderful welcome by all in Beneavin De La Salle College Dublin on Wednesday November 21st. The visitors were met with great enthusiasm by all as they had the chance to chat with students, staff, parents and Board of Management. Following the visit, the La Sallian team are having a busy Christmas period.
As part of the Lasallian Christmas Celebrations, The Lasallian team are organising our Annual Christmas Jumper day. All staff and students are asked to get involved by wearing a festive jumper and donating €2 to St Vincent De Paul.
The Lasallian team are also bringing Christmas cheer to the school with a decorate classroom door and Christmas art competitions for the students.
As part of our Christmas celebrations this year we will once again be collecting for Sonas who are a Domestic Violence organisation based here in Dublin.
Sonas are doing amazing work with keeping victims of Domestic Violence safe and have a refuge not far from our Community. These essentials we are collecting will be delivered to women’s refuges next week as they prepare for the very busy week of Christmas.
Your donations will be going to two refuges and will be given to women and children arriving over the Christmas period including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
As a school we have done amazing work on this for the last three years.
We wish everyone in the Lasallian community and further afield a very happy Christmas.
