Ardscoil La Salle Christmas Jumper Walk in aid of mental health

On December 14th, 2021 Ardscoil La Salle, Raheny, took part in our annual Christmas Jumper Walk. 

The charity walk was organised  by our second year students in aid of Jigsaw, a mental health charity that offers their support and advice to young people aged 12-25. The reason we picked to do our walk in aid of Jigsaw was because due to Covid-19 a lot of young people suffered with their mental health.

The Second Years put a lot of work into organising this event. It was hard work but they had made a deal with one teacher that if they raised €1,000 the teacher would get pied in the face!

The walk was very successful and enjoyed by all our students. They’ve raised €1,201 and thank you to all who donated.
