Recent weeks at the De La Salle Pastoral Centre Dublin have seen an upsurge in Confirmation retreats both in-house, on location in parish pastoral centres and in the schools themselves.

Monastery National School celebrated Catholic Schools Week from Monday January 20th to Friday January 24th 2025. The theme for Catholic Schools Week 2025 was Catholic Schools: Alive in Christ.

The school community at St Stephen’s BNS Waterford came together on Friday February 14th for a Cake Sale organised by the Parents Association.

January 2025, in this jubilee year of hope, has been bookended by some stormy weather but in between the team at Castletown Retreat Centre has been blessed to have been able to welcome several groups to us.

Earlier this term, our Year 8 students took a much-needed break from their regular routines to dive into something a little different: their retreat days.

This year’s theme, “Doorstep Moments,” was inspired by the life-changing encounter between St. John Baptist de La Salle and Adrian Nyel.

At St John’s Ballyfermot Retreat Centre the team has had a very busy introduction to 2025 as they welcomed a number of new schools.

Students at De La Salle College Waterford learned about caring for our environment by taking part in a project will enhance the community.
