Study Day at High School Downpatrick

De La Salle High School, Downpatrick, held a Year 12 study day in response to supporting our Year 12 students in preparing for up-and-coming examinations. It is part of our on-going commitment to helping the students become resilient in the face of unique and uncertain times and fostering a "I CAN DO IT" approach to study and to life.

This was done by taking time to look at ways to manage stress and reflect on what way suits them best to revise and prepare for examinations. While it challenged the students to work in a group setting, it gave them individual opportunity to begin to plan effectively in a way to bring examination success.

It has been followed up by Revision clinics that will support them individually during Form time and Break time sessions in devising a personal strategy for revision.
