Students’ practical help for homeless charity

The importance of community, social justice and respect are very much in the minds of students at De La Salle School St Helens as the members of the 1719 Society are doing their bit to support a local homeless charity this Christmas.

The students have launched a ‘Coats for Christmas Appeal’ and are asking for coats, hats, scarves and gloves to be donated for Teardrops and homeless charities.

The school also planted 50 trees to celebrate the planet and create an outdoor space for reflection and learning in the future, while it will help to off-set our carbon footprint too.
