St Stephen’s involve families in learning

Students at St Stephen’s BNS Waterford were encouraged to involve their families in learning with a number of initiatives over recent weeks.

St Stephen's ran three Brickz4kidz workshops with Junior and Senior infants in October. These ran after school and families were encouraged to come together for these activities. We had a huge turnout and it was a great success.

To celebrate Science Week 2024, we gave families the opportunity to get involved with science experiments at home. The boys took part in some very exciting experiments and all the family got involved too.

Experiments included making a lava lamp, making raisins dance and learning how a volcano erupted. All the boys who took part got a certificate and prize for their efforts.
