St Seton’s celebrate Patron Saint

This month St. Seton’s celebrated the Feast Day of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, a remarkable and pioneering woman who our school was named after because she is the Patron Saint of New Beginnings. Students learnt about the life of St. Elizabeth Seton at Year Group Assemblies and were encouraged to think about January as their own ‘new beginning’, focusing on goals they have for the year ahead.

We also celebrated the week with a Founder’s Day Football match where the full school community were invited to watch a Staff versus Senior Student football match, a tradition we hope to continue in St. Setons.

The St. Seton’s Junior Boys Table Tennis Team started their Leinster League campaign this month against Castleknock College. The boys are doing great and we look forward to seeing them progress further over the year.
