Official launch of Lasallian Awards

The District Leadership Team, on behalf of all the Councils, Committees and groups who have worked on the preparation of this initiative, officially launched the Lasallian Awards 2021 on Wednesday April 7th, the Feast Day of John Baptist de La Salle.

The Lasallian Awards 2021 aims:

  • To raise awareness of the Lasallian Ethos among the students and the rest of the educational communities at Lasallian ministries, especially with those student cohorts which have been impacted with the COVID-19 restrictions due to cancellations or postponement of programmes and events aimed at introducing them to and/or strengthening their Lasallian Identity.

  • To raise awareness about the 5 Core Principles across all ministries in the District of Ireland, Great Britain and Malta. (The 5 Core Principles are the foundation on which a number of current and future projects for Lasallian student formation are based).

  • To compile a repository of new creative Lasallian content which can be enjoyed and used by different groups moving forward.

  • To foster a sense of cohesion, shared purpose, and unity across the District (at all levels).

Lasallian Awards 2021 Prizes:

  • Lasallian Gold Award: Apple iPad

  • Lasallian Silver Award: Apple iPad Mini

  • Lasallian Bronze Award: Apple iWatch

The three winners’ classes/groups will also have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A with a prominent Brother/Lasallian from around the world.
