Magnificent work at Basildon is recognised once again
The magnificent work being carried out at De La Salle School Basildon has been recognised once again in the latest figures released on school applications.
For the third year in succession the school, led by Head Teacher Paul Norris, it has been revealed that the school is the most oversubscribed non-selective secondary school in Essex.
The report is a testament to the value of a Lasallian education and the opportunities that it opens up for young people, as it reveals that there were twice as many applications as there were places.
In a statement, the school said: "Pupils flourish here because they know that staff will give them the support and encouragement they need to do well, or if they feel worried. The school is highly inclusive."
